TINAPAS
Since 2012...
TINAPAS was created by Poppy (Christina) Liu '13 in 2012 and became an annual tradition starting in 2013. The project went dormant with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and was revived in fall of 2023. Check out its history in more detail below.
I was thrilled when a student wanted to revive the TINAPAS community and tradition. We are fortunate to have education and support from Haven and other spaces on campus but students are not always taking the lead on creating these conversations and spaces. TINAPAS was made from the stories of former Colgate students and while it is bittersweet that the themes resonate a decade later, TINAPAS 2023 was a powerful call in to the student community that chose to engage.
